Although Behenaayili is not close to the sea, we are near a river, and the plastic waste, bottles, papers, and other trash we collected would have eventually found their way into the river and ultimately the sea. We are grateful to Ocean Initiatives for providing the materials that made this possible. The people of Behenaayili truly appreciate your support in helping us keep our community clean. If there are more materials available, I would be happy to work on ways to extend this effort to other communities and make an even bigger impact. Together, we can achieve so much more! Great items received but i would suggest that you add more of the Hessian bags than the plastic bags which are almost impossible to reuse. |
