LUC Beach Clean-Up – Act Aware x Surfrider Foundation

Beschreibung

We are Act Aware, the student- and youth-led environmental committee of Leiden University College (LUC) in The Hague, The Netherlands. At the end of this academic year, we would like to organize a beach clean-up event in collaboration with the Surfrider Foundation.
Our committee has experience coordinating a wide range of events, including panel discussions, guest speaker sessions, guided walks, tours, clean-ups, and workshops. More details about our activities can be found on our Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/actawareatluc/.

We are planning to host the clean-up in the final week of May (between 26–30 May) at Scheveningen Beach (Oostduinen area; coordinates: 52.123340, 4.295049) in The Hague.
We expect approximately 12–25 participants to join the event.


As a student-led organization, we operate with limited funding, so any form of support, would be greatly appreciated.
We are excited about the possibility of working together to protect and care for our local coastline!!!
